Ontario EcoSchools is an environmental education program for grades 1-12 that helps students develop ecological literacy while engaged in practices to become environmentally responsible citizens. Developed and run by school boards, Ontario EcoSchools also helps improve school building operations to reduce environmental impacts.
New Student EcoConference & Workshop Planner Ontario EcoSchools has designed a new resource for teachers and board representatives to use in their planning of student EcoConferences and workshops!
This free resource is found on our website and includes numerous worksheets, activity suggestions and organizing tips. Teachers can select from three detailed workshop agendas and mix n’ match activities to suit the specific goals of their student gathering.

Bottled Water Free Day is an opportunity for students to take action in reclaiming public water. In Canada, there are over 70 municipalities, 6 school boards and 3 campuses that have successfully phased out the provision and sale of bottled water in their sectors. Will your school be next?
