Les élèves de la 3e année ont planté les végétaux autour de la base des troncs, alors que les 1re et 2e années ont placé le paillis autour des plantes et des arbres en ajoutant de l’engrais.
Les élèves de la maternelle et du jardin, quant à eux, étaient responsables de l’arrosage. De plus, des parents et des membres de la communauté ont également prêté main-forte lors de la journée de plantation.
En effet, il s’agit d’un très beau travail de collaboration. Ce projet peut leur valoir des points pour des années à venir en établissant un horaire d’entretien régulier. Un gros coup de pouce à toute l’école!
