At Trillium, Green is the New Black
The students and staff of Trillium Demonstration School have gone green this year, incorporating the “Go Green!” message into all aspects of daily activity. In lessons, fundraisers, residence life and guest-speakers, Trillium is well on its way to becoming an Ontario EcoSchool.

Earth Hour is March 28 so we thought we would take a look back at a successful board-wide Earth Hour in Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. Last year, KPRDSB decided that they wanted to engage not just their schools, but the entire Kawartha Pine Ridge family in Earth Hour - staff, students, and families at home.

Ontario EcoSchools Certification Seminar

EcoSchools Board Reps attend Certification Seminar
EcoSchools board reps from across the province came to the Ontario EcoSchools office in January to learn how to support their schools throughout the certification process. 



Upcoming Event: Eco Youth Summit

The Huntsville High School Eco Tribes club is hosting an Eco Youth Summit on Thursday May 21, 2009.

This event is designed to educate our youth and community members about environmental issues and initiatives in the community and beyond.
