Are there any deadlines for certification?
Yes.
• January 31: Input results from the Initial EcoReviews (questions 2.1-2.9 and 3.1-3.10) into the application.
• April 30: Complete all applicable questions, input results from the Follow-up EcoReviews, finalize and submit the application (Early bird deadline April 23rd).

If your school does not register and input the results of the initial EcoReviews by January 31 you can not apply for certification this year.

Can more than one person input data to our school’s application?
Yes, anyone who has the Sign In email address/password combination for your school can input data into the certification application. We do not recommend that more than one person sign in to the application at the same time this may result in data loss or computer errors.

How many times can I sign in to my school’s application?
You and your colleagues and students can sign in to the application as many times as needed prior to the application deadline of April 30. Only one application per school may be created, and only one Sign In email address/password can be assigned to each application. Tip: pick a Sign In email and password that can be shared with your EcoTeam.

Is there a cost to certify my school?
If you are a public or Catholic school, there is no cost to register or certify your school. The Ontario EcoSchools program is free-of-charge for publicly funded schools. Information on private school certification costs is here.
