Ontario EcoSchools is pleased to announce the option to upload your portfolio documents into the online application instead of submitting a paper version of your portfolio.
Requirements for participation in the Paperless portfolio:
- Schools must register for the Paperless Portfolio to enable the upload function.
- Technological ability: Participants must be able to upload all portfolio requirements into the online application. This may require participants to have access to, and be familiar with, the technology needed for scanning documents, uploading pictures, saving PDF files.
- 100% Commitment: Once registered, participants are required to upload ALL portfolio requirements. Partially printed/uploaded portfolios will not be assessed.
- Upload before you submit: All required portfolio documents must be uploaded before you submit your completed application by April 30th.
- Reduce file size: There is a 3MB size limit per upload.
All pictures may be compressed
and resized prior to uploading. See pg. 25 for
instructions on how to reduce your file size.
- You can upload up to 3 files per portfolio requirement question. We encourage you to only submit 1 file per requirement to minimize
time/effort of the application.
- Video files are not permitted: Although we would love to see the videos you create, they are too large for our uploading database. Take a screen capture and upload that image or take a picture of the filming process to document the project. To share your videos, send them to rjari (at) ontarioecoschools.org and we’ll include them in our newsletter!
- The following file formats are permitted for
upload: Microsoft Office files (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint); OpenOffice, WordPerfect, PDF,
jpeg, gif and png.
